BS degree with 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering management exp in a metal fabrication plant. Responsible for 3-5 direct reports and 100 indirects. Position reports to the President. Will interact with all departments Work with Materials Dept and understand MRP and JIT. Exp with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement and cost reduction.

Manufacturing Manager (Assembly) - Memphis, TN

Job Description/Requirements
Will manage all aspects of mfg including order release, materials handling, manufactuirng engineering and production. Will concentrate on process improvments and the development of supervisory and non-exempt staff..

5+ yrs mfg exp in high volume, quick paced technical environment. Strong background in process enhancement, root cause analysis. Previous computer or electronics assembly exp is required. Ability to succeed in highly reactionary environment with ever changing demands and priorities. Must be comfortable dealing with internal and external customers. Experience with lean manufacturing and Kaizen preferred.
